Weekend in the Clouds

I have been very blessed to be able to travel to Cape Town as much as I have this year. It helps that I’ve started working for a company that is based in Cape Town, with new studio’s in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg – 2Oceansvibe Radio.

I know some people think I’ve moved to Cape Town… it isn’t true, but I am going to CT a lot.

I absolutely love this city and everything about it.

On Friday morning I took the super early flight down and just before we were about to land, I got to experience something spectacular above the clouds. It felt like a different world, especially when we went through the clouds and it was all overcast.

This is what was above the grey cloud cover…

And what emerged as we came through the clouds…

In other news… If you go to the Loading Bay – which is just around the corner from 2Oceansvibe Radio, you have to order the Mint, ginger, lemon and honey drink. I make this at home, but I use grated ginger instead of the tot of fresh ginger juice and I’ve never added mint before… something I will start doing. Amazing.
