A few weeks ago I hosted the Mercedes Benz Bokeh Fashion Film Festival Press Launch. It was hosted at the beautiful African Pride 15 on Orange Hotel.
MAC Cosmetics and ghd hair are the sponsors for the festival and they very kindly offered to glam me up.
Tara gave me a smokey look and this is where I fell in love with the Coral Bliss lipstick.
I then had Jennifer come through to my home where she did a vintage curl using the new ghd curling wand and the ghd curl spray.
Jenni Button dressed me for the event and I loved my outfit, even though it’s not something I’m used to. I have never really shown my stomach before, so it was a definite first wearing a sheer and beaded top, Jenni Button lace bra, underneath the tailored Jenni Button suit.
We were greeted with Hendrick’s Gin & Tonics…
and the most delicious spread of food:
Soon enough it was time to start the press launch…
We had the Managing Director of the Bokeh Festival, Adrian Lazarus speak…
We also had the CEO of the Cape Town Fashion Council, Brian Ramkiliwan speak and the Managing Director of Mercedes Benz, Selvin Govender…

I am really excited to be a part of the Mercedes Benz Bokeh Fashion Film Festival again this year, taking place on the 27th and 28th of March 2015.
There are going to be some incredible guest speakers during the day and you don’t want to miss those. I found them so fascinating and fun last year. The tickets are free, but you need to book your space. See the program here.
Of course the evening brings a glamorous red carpet, fashion shows, the real “models” being the Mercedes Benz cars on show and of course, a few of the top Fashion Films being shown on HiSense HD TV screens and ladies, stay polished with MAC nail polish manicures by Fox Box.
If you want to know more about fashion films, I blogged about them last year. Read more.
