On Saturday I was invited to not only attend the L’Ormarins Queens Plate, but also to broadcast live from there for a special broadcast on 2Oceansvibe Radio.
I’d never been to the Queens Plate before and I was quite excited to see what all the hype is about.
What a beautiful, classy and elegant event. Everyone had to dress in blue and white and absolutely everyone dressed to the nines in incredibly beautiful dresses, suits and hats.
We set up and were ready to rock n roll… and then we had technology gremlins arrive and Murphy’s Law struck. Amazing how everything tests well and then when it’s time to go live… Error.
Murphy, you must have a six pack from all the laughing you do.
We eventually got everything sorted and I had a blast interviewing people and chatting about all things fashion and horse related.
