Aussie’s Street Art Limited Edition range Giveaway

Last week felt like a “pretend week.” Some were back at work and some were enjoying a few extra days of holiday.

Today feels a little more real – everything is finally back to normal.

I also wanted to start the year off and remind you that because my blog is personal, it’s my baby… I love writing each day, I love posting my photos and I love sharing info with you… Because of all of this, I vowed that I would only ever share things with you that are completely authentic. I know in the blogging world, it can seem as if we just post about products that are sent to us. I promised that I would always be true to myself and this blog. I have never written about a product or shared info about something I don’t use or don’t 100% love. There have been many times when I’ve been asked to blog about a product and I’ve had to politely turn it down because I don’t like the product or wouldn’t use it. There are often times I speak about experiences, places and products that I use anyway and have not been sent my way.

I always want there to be transparency so that this blog remains personal, credible and honest.

Last year (sounds like it was ages ago, doesn’t it?) I received Aussie’s Street Art Limited Edition range – it consisted of the Mega Shampoo, the Mega conditioner and the 3 Minute Miracle Constructor Treatment.

I have often heard about this product from my overseas friends and couldn’t wait to try it.

I cannot rave about it enough. I have tried so many shampoos and conditioners in my lifetime and I always get enticed by the promises on the colourful bottles – more shine, less split ends, stronger, healthier, damage free etc etc etc and always land up a little disappointed.

I started using the Mega Shampoo, Conditioner and the 3 Minute Miracle Treatment.

Firstly, the smell. Oh my gosh it smells amazing. The best part is that ever since I’ve started using this, whenever I hug people they ask me what perfume I’m wearing. The first few times this happened,  I just said my normal scent and every single person said: “No we can smell that too, but it’s something else…It’s your hair!”

My hair has never felt softer, looked shinier or felt healthier and trust me, I’ve tried a LOT of products in various price brackets. Even my boyfriend keeps running his hands through saying: “It’s so smooth!”

I also love the bottles – they’re easy to open, squeeze just the right amount out and with the limited edition Street Art bottles, they look funky and colourful.

Let’s chat a little more about the brand. Aussie, you guessed it, is from Australia. It’s fun and quirky and I love the packaging. Their brand motto says it all: “There’s more to life than hair, it’s a good place to start.” Their promise is also that every one of their products is jam-packed with nourishing, moisturising and frizz busting ingredients, such as Jojoba seed oil, Blue Gum leaves, Balm Mint and Wild Cherry bark.

Here’s what they promise:

Mega Instant Shampoo for everyday cleaning: Mega gentle, mega clean, mega shine – this daily shampoo does it all quick smart. The new clear, yet lather rich formula carefully cleanses hair of build-up leaving you with squeaky clean, bouncy locks – no matter how much product you’ve been plastering on.

Mega Instant Conditioner: This Aussie gem is a tried-and-tested must have. For day-to-day happy hair and if you’re looking for daily conditioning shine, reach for Mega Instant Conditioner. You can use it as often as you like – without leaving build-up – so now your hair will never weigh you down.

3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner: If your hair is pleading for some TLC then help is close at hand – and in a hurry! In a matter of minutes this little wonder will help reconstruct damaged hair, smoothing and soothing and leaving it manageable, shiny and as ready to party as you are!

It’s part of our magical, miraculous formula that helps mend split ends and repair roughened cuticles.

I have to say, this is all 100% true. I can’t stop raving about this product. I’m so happy it’s in the country.

It’s reasonably priced too. The shampoos and conditioners are R64, 99 and the Treatments are R84, 99 and you’ll find them in Clicks stores.

The other products available in South Africa are:

  • Aussome Volume Shampoo and Conditioner, perfect for those with fine, limo hair.
