It hasn’t been easy being without Duke. I miss him all the time, but I take such comfort in knowing he is being treated and loved like a King with my family.
He is such a spoiled little boy with such character – gosh he makes us all laugh.
I have FaceTime sessions with him and my mom often. I take screen shots of our chats…
When I went back home this past weekend, Karolina video’d the reunion! Excuse me while I talk in a baby voice – wow – I had no idea I did that until I played several videos back.
I’m also addicted to the new smartphone app, Vine – it allows you to record and post mini videos to Facebook and Twitter. You can find me by searching: BaileySchneider.
I’ve added some of the videos I made into the reunion.
Weirdly, I can’t seem to post the video directly- so here is the link.
We took this photo as we got inside – he slobbered all over me – the best kisses.
I love the winter jacket my mom bought for him – or as my my mom calls them – his pajamas. He outgrew the one from last year… My mom and Duke have a ritual. Before bed, he goes outside for one last piddle and then comes inside for his “pj’s” to be put on. He still falls asleep with his pillow in his mouth.
These are some of the pics I took over the weekend…
On the last night, he came into my room at 4am and hopped on the bed. We cuddled until my alarm clock went off and I had to get ready for the airport.
This is how I left him. He’s not a morning pup. I gave him kisses and good bye cuddles and he just raised his head, looked at me very unimpressed that I was waking him, grunted and flopped his back down to nestle into my duvet.
I love him so much and I’m so happy that he is happy, that I get to see him all the time and that my family are so incredible with him, like he is with them.
