Last week I was invited to the Jacobs Board Game Cafe launch in Parkhurst.
My inner child was very excited. I love board games and they are particularly perfect for winter weather.
I love that there is a place now where you can take your friends and family, drink Jacobs coffee, have a glass of wine or sherry and play board games together going back to the simplicity of life and fun. There is no wi-fi, no apps… it’s purely connecting face to face with friends and family. It’s nostalgic.
I joined Ian F, Randall Abrahams, Paul Rotherham, Unathi Msengana, Loyiso Bala, Emmanual Castis and more for a fun game of Paul Rotherham’s Jukebox Trivia game. We were put into teams and played against each other huddled up under blankets with coffee and wine. It was fantastic…
