Legacy Lifestyle Pamper Party

Most of you know that I’m doing some dual city living in Cape Town and Johannesburg, which is certainly fun and interesting.

If you missed that news, here is your catch up.

I got to fly back to Joburg on Friday. Karolina, my BFF fetched me from the Gautrain and I don’t think we stopped hugging! We had an awesome B&K moment catch up and then she took me home. My mom was waiting with open arms – more awesome hugs… and then I got the biggest, slobbering greeting from Duke ever. Greatest feeling. He is being treated like a Duke KING at home and my mom, dad and sister are amazing with him! I’ll leave that for another blog post 😉

I loved catching up with my family and close friends, but that wasn’t the only reason I was back in Joburg.

I’m a brand ambassador for Legacy Lifestyle and they were throwing me a Pamper Party! So blessed.

I got to run a twitter competition asking people to Re-Tweet to win double tickets to join me and my girlfriends at the party.

I arrived at the spectacular venue Maxim Lounge. It is so chic with it’s luxurious decor and sparkling chandeliers.

The energy in the room was just warm and friendly and beautiful. I don’t know how to explain it… Every person who was there contributed to this energy – it was lovely. It was filled with the lovely twitter winners and my closest friends.

Lorinda, my good friend and manager, from 4 Elements Media and the awesome Kerry from Legacy Lifestyle welcomed everyone and let us all know what was going to happen throughout the afternoon.

Sonette from Dermalogica who spoke about really caring for our skin. I thought I knew about skincare. I learned a lot. We could also have a face mapping session done where they analysed our skin and gave us solutions at the Skin Bar. She also spoke about Sprayology – this is amazing for anyone (like me) who hates swallowing tablets. They have homeopathic sprays – Vitamin B, A multi-vitamin, vitamins for your hair and nails, stress, a weight-loss spray and so on. We all got either a Colds and Flu spray or an Immuno Booster spray to take home.

The Vitamin B and Folic Acid spray tastes like peaches and caramel. YUM.

Jenna and Annie from Pulse Salon in Sandton, spoke about this new hair iron that is taking over from other leading hair irons because it’s proven that it has almost no hair damage – called and they told us all about Moroccan Oil – magic for your hair. I adore the product!

The ladies from Catrice and Essence Make-up spoke about the amazing products that are affordable and available in Dischem and Clicks.

Karolina spoke about Runway Hair extensions and it was so awesome to see how the girls couldn’t stop touching the hair.

We even placed the clip-ins into Concetta’s hair. She looked amazing!

We all got to try out the products, eat the delicious food, drink BOS Ice Teas and Ice Tropez and catch up!

It was SUCH fun!

No one left empty handed and those goody bags (2 of them, each) were fabulous. SPOILT doesn’t even begin to describe them.

Don’t you love the Hush Puppy toys (the closest we could find to Duke.)

I just want to thank Mike and Kerry from Legacy Lifestyle and Lorinda my dear friend and manager for making me feel so incredibly special. I was so humbled and words cannot express my gratitude.
