Last night I went to one of my favourite areas in Johannesburg: Parkhurst for the winter launch of Avant Apparel. I actually interviewed the design duo Lauren du Plessis and Bailey Allison on my 2Oceansvibe radio show the day before so I was really excited to see the collection. The girls have done very well considering they’re only a year old. They’ve appeared in 2 Joburg Fashion Weeks and been nominated for several design awards.

I invited Sabrina Kennedy, who has her own fashion range called Bibi Rouge, so I knew she would really appreciate Avant Apparel’s range and launch. What a great night of fashion, Glühwein and fun.
