Last night the Melrose Arch Piazza came alive with The Sunglass Hut Out of The Box party.
There was media, celebrities, VIPs and incredibly sexy and fashionable people all over. The champagne was flowing and I was asked off the cuff to do some MC work to welcome everyone and introduce the CEO of Sunglass Hut, Mike Elliot. I was also asked to “model” some eyewear (oh if I must – haha)
It was fantastic!
Toya de Lazy entertained the crowd – I think she is amazing. Can’t wait to interview her on my radio show soon.
Everyone received a R1000 gift voucher to spend on a pair of glasses and we got to be the first to see the limited edition ranges that will only be available in February 2013. Now the Pop Up shop is open in Melrose Arch today and tomorrow ONLY and you’ll be able to experience the range too!
I got myself a gorgeous pair of limited edition Prada’s – it was quite an experience shopping for sunglasses at night.

Poor Lee-Roy Wright… He looked so excited about tucking into his food and then the bottom of the box gave way and everything fell out!
We quickly decided to head to the bar for suitcase shooters (in tumblers)…

It was such an awesome night out and I loved getting to catch up with everyone and meeting new people too.
