ER Collection is a proudly South African brand that makes shoes and handbags.

There are only a limited number of styles of shoes (thirteen/fourteen to be exact) designed and manufactured for the range, which really ensures you’ll stand out in the crowd. The chances of you arriving at a function wearing the same shoes is almost impossible. I like those odds.

Here’s the story of what happened:

I was sent a beautiful pair of heels valued at R2 850. Behold the Gaia Peep Toe in, what I call a Tiffany blue colour.

Unfortunately I am not able to wear them because they are sky high heels and just make me far too tall. My boyfriend is just taller than me without heels and when I put these babies on,  I literally tower over him, in a Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman kind of way. Some people love it, I personally am not a fan.

I chatted honestly to the team at ER Collection and was going to send them back. Honestly, it would be a tragedy to have such beautiful shoes sitting in my cupboard, when they are made to be out in the world dancing and walking through pretty streets, finding adventure.

Instead of sending them back, the team suggested I do a competition and give them to a lucky size 7. How generous?
