5 Favourite Beauty Loves

As girls we should always share our favourite beauty items and products. I don’t necessarily mean literally sharing… I wouldn’t advise you share mascara or lipstick, especially if one of you has a cold sore. Just saying.

What I mean is, we should be sharing our favourite beauty item knowledge with one another. I constantly try new products and only share those that I genuinely adore!

These are some of my favourite products at the moment…

1.Coral Bliss lipstick by MAC. I literally bought it yesterday after I had my make-up done for the Mercedes Benz Bokeh Fashion Film Festival Press Launch. I was MCing the event and ghd and MAC offered to style me. We went for a smokey eye and a coral lip. It’s the most gorgeous colour and really offers a beautiful pinky/coral pop of colour to the lips.

2. EOS Lip Balm. I may be a little late in discovering these, but they are pots of perfection. I got the Coconut Milk flavour and it literally makes my lips soft within one application, which is just brilliant as a base before applying the above mentioned lipstick.

3. Cuticle Balm by Biologie. You can purchase this from the Rain stores. I love that the ingredients are 100% natural and it actually sounds good enough to eat. Sweet almond, coconut, beeswax, honey, lemon peel and rosemary. When I opened up the little pot, I was expecting a cream, but the beeswax ingredient should have given me more of a hint. It’s like a lip balm for your cuticles and really feels good. My hands have needed extra TLC after all the unpacking of boxes and this has helped a lot.

4. I haven’t had as much time to get down to the beach this year and I can definitely see that my tan has faded. I actually wrote a post on Alila a while back, thought it had posted and then discovered it was corrupted and I lost the whole piece. ARGH!

Alila Auto Bronze is the business girls. It literally rubs in as easily as you would moisturise your arms, legs and stomach and gives you an instant bronzed glow, without looking like a Twilight vampire in the sunshine. I love sparkles, but sometimes you want a glow that looks as natural as possible. There is no orange tone at all and it doesn’t rub off until you physically wash it off, so you don’t have to worry about giving someone a hug and leaving a brown residue on their white shirt.

Here I applied it on a section of half of my arm to show you how natural it looks. It’s so easy to blend and even when I added more to even out my arm, I wasn’t left with a line down the middle. I went back to looking as if I had been sun kissed in Greece.

5.  Morgan Taylor Nail Lacquer. I was speaking to a manicurist the other day and we were chatting about all the new products on the market. When I asked for her opinion on Morgan Taylor she said: “The nail polishes last longer than ordinary polishes and they’re known for having the very best colours!”

They recently came out with their Enchantment Range. The pale mint colour is called Hocus Pocus and the copper glitter colour is called I’m the Good Witch.
