The weather has taken such a beautiful turn. I’m amazed. 2 maybe 3 weeks ago it was snowing in Johannesburg. The temperatures over the past few days have been over 30 degrees.

Last week…

My skin is loving the heat, but I’m a little nervous to start packing away my winter wardrobe. I have a funny feeling we haven’t seen the last of Winter.

It was my mom’s birthday on Saturday. Normally her birthday is always cold and the August winds blow like mad. It was wonderful to have the sun shining… a lovely Spring/Summers day.

We celebrated over breakfast at Mon Petit Throb.

The rest of the day was spent lounging at home, relaxing, eating cake… I loved the cake with my mom’s  “age” on it.

The rest of my weekend was spent playing with Duke and getting as muddy as possible and just enjoying the sunshine…

 I ended off the weekend on Sunday afternoon/evening with Sundowners in Parkhurst with my mates.
