In January, my boyfriend and I went to Plett with some friends and we got the opportunity to visit again this July. These friends live in Barcelona and have an AMAZING holiday home, called Kalu House in Plett. Whenever they come back to South Africa to visit family and friends, they spend time in CT and Plett and the family and friends all drive through to spend time catching up.
It’s official. I’m dating Wolverine.

For some unknown reason he has decided to grow his beard and see how long it gets. He doesn’t stop feeling it and letting me know how magnificent it is. It is now dubbed: “The Magnificent Beard.”
It must go.
Although, honestly it’s kind of growing on me. Um, BAD PUN! I’m not minding it so much now, but it’s not my favourite look of his. Obviously I won’t let him know that. *Fingers crossed he doesn’t read this post*
Someone on Instagram pointed out that he looks a little like Justin Theroux (Jennifer Anniston’s fiance) YUM.
Moving on from facial hair…
We headed back to Kalu House to see our friends again and even though it was a week, it was exactly what we both needed. A change of scenery and a slight break.
Even though I was on holiday, I still recorded my radio show every day – so if you listened in – THANKS!
Even though the house was full of people, it never ever felt like it. They have thought of everything and you can never be bored. There are 8 bedrooms all en-suite, a 20 man jacuzzi, the most amazing kitchen and dining room table, a games and TV room, a pool, the bar and fire area, pizza oven… It is incredible.

I had such an amazing time with everyone. Thank you again to the Allen’s for their amazing hospitality and fun and to the Kaplan’s and Orkins for the good times .
