DSTV has introduced Box Office. It’s like a DVD store on your PVR decoder. Basically you can buy movies for R25 and you can keep them for 48hours. What a pleasure.

I LOVE movies. I love renting movies because I don’t always have time to go to the cinema, so I normally catch up at home.

Ask any of the video stores I’ve ever been to (rather don’t) … I’m not their favourite person. For some reason DVD’s hate me. Yes. It’s a conspiracy. I’m convinced. The DVD’s I rent…are always scratched.

Plus… ahem… I’m not the best at returning the DVD’s on time. I know. Don’t judge.

Now… I don’t have to worry about scratched discs and I never have to return them. Sign me up!!

DSTV contacted me and offered me an experience I couldn’t turn down. “Date Night with DSTV Box Office.”

Spoiled is a word that doesn’t even begin to explain how I felt last night. Dani arrived with pizza, salad, wine, wine glasses filled with Lindt chocolate balls, popcorn, marshmellows, chocolate chip cookies, magnum ice creams and beautiful candles and candle stick holders. They had loaded credit onto my decoder and we watched the movie Limitless while we pigged out.

Bliss.
