A Cream Dream with Just Cruizin Clothing

I’ve always loved Just Cruizin… I first discovered the clothing brand through my Dad! He’s always loved their shirts and looks so good in them.

Years ago, Sox and I were in a long distance relationship, and whenever I’d visit Cape Town, from Johannesburg, we’d take a scenic drive out to the Hout Bay Market. It was there that I got to see and tangibly feel the clothing. I’ve always loved the ranges natural casualness, the softness of cotton and earthy, muted tones, which is funny, because that’s exactly how the brand describes themselves. You know I love a story behind a brand, so if you do too, you can read more by clicking here: https://www.justcruizinclothing.com/pages/our-story.

I visited the Just Cruizin HQ a few weeks ago and fell in love with it all. There’s something special about going to the heart of a place, seeing the mood boards and swatches of fabric, and meeting the ladies who are sewing, steaming and ensuring each item is perfectly made.

Honestly, I could have bought everything, and I don’t say that often with many brands.

It was such fun to try on an array of items and eventually decided on a few that I know I’ll wear often with love. I was gifted a few pieces, which I really appreciate and I also bought some items that I just could not leave behind.

I’m really excited to be able to blog as well – I’m slowly getting back to feeling more myself again (I’ll blog more about this soon.)

A friend of mine, Anastasia from 2oceansphotography (we did a shoot together in Athens, which was amazing), met up again but this time on a Cape Town beach to shoot some looks.

I’m going to start with this cream/Ecru look, which I adore:

I teamed the Mia Vest Cardigan in the colour Ecru, with the Maxine Knit Pants in the same colour. Both items are available in black and are both in their signature 100% Cotton.

I feel like this is beautifully casual, but striking. It’s definitely a stand-out look, whilst still being wonderfully comfortable.

These pieces are fantastic individually too and I love teaming the cardigan with skinny jeans and leggings, and wearing it closed or open. The pants look great with a denim shirt, jersey’s and polo necks, and also have pockets. You can create so many versatile looks with just 2 items. Great pieces to add to a wardrobe capsule.

The Mia Cardigan features wood buttons
It also has front pockets and a ribbed hem
