Weekend Vibes

Life has been crazy lately. The days seem to be getting faster and time is flying by. The sad thing is not seeing mates as often as we used to/would like to.

In lieu of things happening over the past few days, it’s made me really appreciate the people in my life (more so than usual.)

Life is too short and it’s about prioritising things that really matter.

On Friday, Karolina and I spent the day together – we lunched, shopped and then that evening we went to watch the award winning Argo. WHAT A MOVIE!! Brilliant! I was hooked from the minute it started and sat on the edge of my seat the whole way through.

On Saturday, a group of us went to The Foundry in Parkhurst – great vibe, great food.

Terrible coffee. Just saying.

Sadly no photos – I decided to put the camera away and enjoy the day, without it being through a camera lens.

I received 2 gift vouchers for my birthday – spoilt!! One for a gelish manicure at Camelot Spa in Eagle Canyon and one for a pedicure at Sorbet.

I went to both spas on Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed the Me-Time.

On Sunday afternoon, Karolina and Filip invited some of our mates over for a braai. The weather was so perfect, the food was delicious and it was absolutely heart warming to spend time with everyone again and catch up.

I was clearly very hungry…

The men all sat at the dining table and we sat at the kitchen table catching up over great food and wine… We were having a laugh – it was totally unplanned and felt very high school – boys on one side and girls on the other!
