You might have noticed that I’m in my element with the fact that animal print is in the spotlight (pun intended) this season.

You might remember my fashion trip with Julie from Off the Rails and Habits Fashion (read the post here.)

I have loved the pieces so much, that I called Tegan up and we had a really fun shoot in the city, on a beautiful Autumn/Wintery day.

The leopard print parka jacket has been a showstopper for me. I literally get stopped each time I wear it, being asked where it’s from. I love seeing women’s eyes light up when I tell them that it’s available here in South Africa, from Habits. I think they’re expecting me to say somewhere international.

It is perfect for the windy days and the rainy days in Cape Town.

I love that it cinches in the waist to give it shape, snaps closed, has deep pockets and has a large hood.

It cuts out all the wind (and rain) and is so comfy.

For days when it’s not windy or rainy, I love the Liverpool jeans (that I am still somehow fitting into – just!) and leopard print top – both from Habits. I half tucked the top into the jeans (while I still can – this shoot was done at 11 weeks pregnant), added a black belt, some black flat slip ons and a leather criss cross bag.
