Pigmentation is one of the hardest skin conditions to target efficiently. It’s caused by a number of factors – too much sun exposure (something we are all guilty of from living in this beautiful climate of ours), inflammation, skin injuries and my personal experience – pregnancy.
Before, the only way to remove pigmentation was laser. Until now…
Thanks to the Focus Care Radiance+ Range from Environ, pigmentation, uneven skin tone and dark spots may be a thing of the past (without the pain.)
Environ has been working very hard to find the solution and they have done just that with their revolutionary new 3-step Mela-Smart System that has 4 powerhouse formulas that work together to help stop the 6 complex steps in hyperpigmentation.
It impresses me so much because instead of a product just being topical to treat a condition that’s already there, this product seems to target the root causes of skin discolouration, dark spots and uneven skin tone.
My very first question I had was:
Can I use this while I am pregnant?
I’m thrilled that the answer is: Yes! The fact that this range targets the root causes to prevent pigmentation means that I will most likely prevent pigmentation during my pregnancy. I am so excited about this.
How it works:
3 boxes, 4 products.
1. Once you have cleansed and toned your skin, begin with the Multi-Bioactive Mela-Prep Lotion. A little goes a long way and it’s a very thin liquid lotion, so be careful you don’t pour too much out.
Directions for use: Apply this to the darkened areas (pigmentation/ dark spots.) Use this morning and night.
2. Vita-Biobotanical Mela-Fade Serum A + B: These serums contain a concentrated blend of vitamins and botanicals to assist in targeting and improving the appearance of discolourations, leaving the skin looking more evenly toned and healthier.
Directions for use: After applying the Mela-Prep lotion, mix and apply equal amounts of Serum A & Serum B to the darkened areas of skin. Use morning and night.
3. Intense C-Boost Mela-Even Cream helps reclaim the appearance of a younger, more healthy-looking luminous skin with an even, radiant glow with this technologically advance vitamin C infused cream.
Directions for use: After applying the serums, apply this cream to the areas of concern or the full face and neck (I do the full face and neck.) Allow it to sink in and then apply your SPF during the day, or your night time moisturiser.
After just a week of using this range, I’ve noticed a difference in the pigmentation on my forehead and cheek areas. It’s definitely less noticeable and I don’t need to conceal it as much as I usually have to. My skin also looks brighter and healthier. While I know pregnancy always gets the credit for the glow, I’m pretty sure I can credit Environ’s Focus Care Radiance range too. Really looking forward to seeing how my skin improves the more I use it.
