Mid Year Slump

I have hit the mid year slump. I’m feeling so uninspired and tired. Are you also feeling like this?

I have so many ideas and plans swirling around that I want to do, I want to start or implement, but I seem to be lacking the energy and just feel so flat. I feel like I need to recharge, refresh, reboot…. You get the idea.

I’ve been saving up for a holiday and am finally going to tick off the #2 destination on my travel wish list/bucket list.

I’ve always wanted to go to Greece and we finally booked our tickets this week – we’ll be going in August – their hottest month. I’m so unbelievably excited, even though I’m anxious of taking time off. It’s always a catch 22 for a freelancer like me.

I almost can’t believe it’s real yet. I don’t think it’s sunk in.

It’s definitely a fantastic way to get through the slump and it sure gives me something to look forward to.

I can’t wait to feel warm again

However, August feels far away (even though it isn’t) and I need to find the energy.

I’ve also realised I need to be bikini ready in 46 more sleeps. Good grief. I just have such little energy to get going, but I need to get back into a regular fitness routine.

I’ve been looking at Pinterest to gain inspiration… Beautiful images always inspire me.
