Go for Gold… what I wore last week

I hope you had an awesome weekend. I landed back in Johannesburg on Friday night and I can’t believe it’s Monday already.

I’ve definitely hit the ground running… Here’s to a happy week ahead!

I had published the above post about an hour before getting the phone call. I met Hayley Fraser a few years ago through one of my closest friends Claire… Hayley and I got on like a house on fire and she was this beautiful inside and out, full of fun and mischief incredible girl. She had such an infectious laugh and always gave the best advice. She had moved to London and I saw her this year February when she flew out for Claire’s wedding. We were seated next to each other and we didn’t stop laughing, dancing and having fun. I had been going through a really tough time and she was so caring and supportive.

Claire called me from Tanzania this morning to let me know that Hayley had passed away on Saturday.

I’m shocked. Gone too soon. Hayley, may you Rest in Peace and fly with the Angels now. Even though I didn’t know you as well as everyone else, you touched my heart and made an impact on me.

It really reminds us to appreciate every moment and to let the people we love know. Don’t wait. Life is too short.
