I have been sick this week. Bleh.
On Wednesday I felt so terrible that I stayed in bed, running a fever. I’m pretty sure I had man flu and we all know that it’s the worst kind.

I had to rest up because I couldn’t afford to spend Thursday in bed. I had 2 big radio interviews on 2Oceansvibe radio and straight after my show, I went to MC The Bookmarks Awards 2013 Shortlist Announcement in Cape Town, with a live feed to Johannesburg.
I dosed myself on Thursday morning, got showered and headed to Scar Hair where the brilliant Flo Neacsu worked his magic on my locks.
I raced to the 2Oceansvibe Radio studios where I interviewed The Graeme Watkins Project about their new album Soldier On between 12-1pm.
From 1-2pm, I had Danny K on the show talking about his album that launches today Good Look.
I picked up a quick sushi take away for lunch and rushed home to touch up make-up, change and get to the venue for The Bookmarks Awards.
I arrived early, which gave me ample time to be briefed and run through the order of the afternoon.

I really enjoyed the event and it was wonderful to meet so many talented people in the digital industry.
On my way home, I was absolutely blown away by the incredible sunset last night. In land the sky was just pink and purple with a beautiful rainbow overhead and when you looked out to sea, the sky looked like it was on fire.
Cape Town, you outdid yourself. Wow.
I took these photos and neither of them have any filters.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
