There are so many things I want to do and I find myself wanting to do them even more now because I am in proper procrastination mode.
I have been studying Social Media 2 through Quirk Education and I’m in my final week. I can’t actually believe it. I originally thought I was crazy to think about going back to study. I also thought I was crazy for adding it to my insane schedule and my move to Cape Town, but I’ve done it and I feel very proud. I have a massive Research Project due (the big one) on Friday. In a way I’m really sad it’s over – it’s been awesome!
Procrastination always leads to list making…
The first thing on my list is to use my Canon SLR more often. I’m often seen as “the tourist” because I photograph everything. I must admit, my iPhone (Instagram) is just so handy so I use it more often. I feel like I’ve neglected my big camera and it’s making me sad. I was thinking of maybe doing one of those monthly photography challenges to get my creative juices flowing.
I want to explore Cape Town more.
I have never been to the flower market in Adderley street and I can’t wait to walk through taking in the sweet smells, bright colours and taking some home. Apparently the Adderley Street Flower market has been the site for flower sellers for over 100 years.
I have never been up Lions Head. I definitely want to change that, weather permitting of course.
I want to explore more of the wine farms and restaurants. There are so many gems and I want to discover them one by one. I’m open to suggestions as always.
I want to go to Robben Island.
I want to cook and host a dinner party – I love entertaining but at the moment I’ve been studying, doing assignments, working and so it hasn’t really been a reality. I can’t wait to do it soon.
I want to bake an apple pie/crumble from scratch.

Speaking of my studies… My final assignment is due Friday. Eek. That essentially puts it on the top of my To-Do List.
Best I get cracking.
