My latest fashion favourites

I’m having a refreshed love affair with clothes again, thanks to the change of season. It’s definitely the crisper weather that is renewing my wardrobe love. I normally feel this way towards the end of one season. I get bored with my same dresses/coats depending on the season and look forward to a wardrobe change.

I’m having a love affair with torn and ripped denims. They can be worn in so many ways – either teamed up with sneakers, high-tops, sandals, wedges or even a pair of stilettos.

These boyfriend jeans are from Cotton On, sneakers from Superga, Springbok ring (gift from my mom) and the nail polish is Morgan Taylor Hocus Pocus

These are from River Island. T-bar sandals from Woolworths, rings from Lovisa, nails – Morgan Taylor Hocus Pocus.

Isn’t it funny how one goes through fashion phases? I’ll go through phases where I don’t wear a single accessory (other than a handbag and sunglasses – staple accessories for me) and then times when I adorn myself.

I am in love with the boyfriend watch trend and back to wearing a watch daily ever since this beauty came into my life. A beautiful black leather strap, simple white face with gold hands and details, also known as the Nixon Kensington Leather watch.

Michael Kors sunglasses are now being stocked at Sunglass Hut and I fell in love with the shades pictured above.

Sox bought me a monochrome and gold detailed purse from River Island so that I can easily carry my drivers license and cash around. This is perfect for my clutch bag when I go out.

Speaking of gold, I’m normally a silver/white gold person for dainty things, but loving the chunkier yellow gold and rose gold accessories.

The rings are from Colette Hayman and I always ensure I paint them with clear nail polish so that the stones stay put.

I’ve been teaming gold accessories with leopard print, which will never go out of fashion… It’s how leopard print is worn, that will change with the trends.

Sunglasses below are Prada Journals.

I cannot wait for Winter to come… purely so I can wear these beauties from Hush Puppies. You can also earn Legacy Lifestyle points when you purchase. Bonus!

These are called The Malory Rustique boots.

They are so incredibly comfortable and warm. I can’t wait to wear them over skinny jeans, leggings and even with Winter dresses.

I love that they are waterproof, especially since our winters in Cape Town are rainy and cold.
