Last year I got a call with a very kind offer for Lipsy to dress me for the J&B Met that took place on Saturday 01 February.
Last Thursday evening I went to the Lipsy Store in Canal Walk. The staff are absolutely amazing, so helpful and really know how to dress for your body shape – something that is vital in looking and feeling amazing.
The very first dress that we spotted was a gorgeous black and gold sequin number. I must have tried on about 8 different dresses before finally deciding on the very first dress that had caught my eye.
The theme was “Made to Conquer” and I felt this dress had a strong and sexy Gladiator presence. I definitely felt like I could conquer anything in it.

| Just one of the 8 I tried on…. Loved the periwinkle blue colour and details |
On Saturday morning I decided to paint my nails a bright red to offset the strong black and gold dress. I used Vinylux “Hollywood” colour.
I got to meet the brand manager of Lipsy, Lorraine, looking phenomenal in one of the dresses!
Liezel van der Westhuizen also wore a pretty Lipsy number and Jen Su was dressed by Diaan Daniels.
I got to party in both the Lipsy tent and the Sunglass Hut tent. They were just fabulous!
