I’m such a girly girl.

Small things like getting my hair done makes me happy, so off I went to Studio 9, Melrose Arch for a pamper session. It was time to go extra blonde for Summer (dark blonde roots are never sexy) AND… I decided to go long again. Yes, I know, right? Normally people go for a cut and blow. Not me. What can I say? Long hair makes me feel happy and dare I say, sexy. For some strange reason my hair will not grow past the length it is is now. It’s like there is a Bermuda Triangle at the end of my locks. It will grow (damn roots) but will not get longer (and it’s not breaking off.) Where that hair goes, I will never know. It’s right up there with the missing sock saga.

We had our friends over on the weekend and Amy arrived with the most gorgeous roses for me in one of my favourite colours – coral. It’s amazing how they brighten up a room and put a smile on my face whenever I look over and see them. Flowers will make a girl smile. Every. Time.

Finding the right lipstick when you’ve seen it in a photograph is hard. I’ve been looking for a pink lipstick that looks like a “Barbie” type of pink without look too kitsch. Tall order, I realize this… but I knew it had to be out there, especially when I saw this picture of Drew Barrymore and that was the exact colour I was looking for.

I recently found it at MAC. It’s called Snob and it’s so lovely. I find it to be a little lip drying, so make sure your lips are moisturized and add a clear lip gloss or a dash of Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream afterwards, to keep your lips hydrated.
