Last week, TRESemmé launched a brand new product and I happened to be the MC for the day.

It’s called Beauty-Full Volume and works on reverse washing – condition first and then shampoo. One of the first questions that I thought was: “So why can’t I just use my normal shampoo and conditioner?” and it was like Cassandra just knew what I was thinking, because she immediately raised it in her presentation. It can dry out your hair quite a bit, but they’ve formulated this specifically for reverse washing so that your hair has more volumn without being crunchy /sticky.

They also had TRESemmé Ambassador, New York Fashion Week Look Co-ordinator and stylist to the stars, Chris Naselli out from New York. It was his first time in SA and definitely not his last! He really is awesome and as he did my hair, I kept thinking: This is the man who plays with the hair of Katie Holmes, Emmy Rossum, Connie Britton, Emma Roberts, Minnie Driver, just to name a few… and now he is playing with my hair!

I did my best to play it cool.
