Last week I was invited to the launch of Spree’s Spring/Summer Collection.

Our hair and make-up was done by professionals and we were able to browse through the clothing racks of clothing by various designers.
Fashion Director, Chris Viljoen was also on hand to give style advice, along with the fashion buyers and owners.
We got to try on so many different outfits, accessorise with handbags, jewellery and shoes.

After we were welcomed and watched the video, some went into hair and make-up and some went straight to the clothing racks. I was part of the latter and I absolutely fell in love with this Blaklisted Tassel Trim dress – see it online here.
After I changed, I went to Brendan from Langaro for a touch up on my hair…

I adore getting my make-up done. The swish of the soft brushes on my face is like a mini massage/tickle. I can almost fall asleep it’s so relaxing.
Ready for my first look. Ready to shoot.
I always get nervous for shoots because I never know what to do. I wish someone could teach me how to pose naturally, what to do with my hands, my legs etc…
Obviously, the photographer directed me – but there are times when I wish I wasn’t so stiff.
After a few shots, I started relaxing, taking direction and Tracy actually made me laugh, which worked well.
I have respect for models. It’s not easy.

I need your fashionista advice… I really want these 2 items – but at the moment, I can only choose one.
The one is that tassel dress I wore, which I fell in love with and the other is a leather quilted jacket I have been looking for everywhere and have not found until I went onto the site. I know we’re also going into Summer, but these can be worn on a chilly day and next season.
Obviously, they are very different but I really want them both and cannot decide.
