I definitely needed to go hungry to my three hour show on Tuesday. The Bailey Schneider Show on 2Oceansvibe Radio would be doing a Dine Around at the V&A Waterfront. 3 hours of radio and 3 restaurants.
We set up to broadcast from The Greek Fisherman, where I had been last night.
The 3 restaurants I would be trying and interviewing are The Greek Fisherman, City Grill and Meloncino. They are one big happy family and each restaurant is multi award winning. The uniqueness here is that if you are sitting in one of the restaurants, you may order from the other 2 menus too. So you may be sitting in Meloncino, but feel like a steak from City Grill. Done.

The Greek Fisherman will be 20 years old on the 28th of October. So to celebrate, they are running a lunch special of what was popular on the menu 20 years ago, at the price the meal was 20 years ago. This is happening on the 27th and 28th of October 2012.

My favourite was the Warthog and then the crocodile, which by the way, really does taste like chicken!
Orgasmic, a word that comes to mind when describing the creme brulee and the Bar One infused Cheesecake. OMG.
Meloncino means “Sweet Baby Melons” … it sounds like an awesome expression for when something is, well…awesome. I’ll be using that from now on!

We packed everything up and headed off to Franschhoek for our next adventure in little “Smurfette”which was packed to the max.
