I had the best weekend!!
I went to the Guess Party, which was pretty much the windiest night in Cape Town yet. We basically got blown into Shimmy Beach.
So much for doing my hair in curls… They blew right out.
Amy and I had to stop and take a photo of what was happening as we were walking from our car, to show you the NOT SO GLAMOUROUS pics that no one really shows.
I had one of the best nights – we danced and partied all night and this may seem biased, but Sox was on fire as he DJ’d and I don’t think anyone was standing around – everyone danced! What a fun night.

I also got my first Christmas tree in Cape Town. I have a tree stored in Johannesburg. Funny thing is I didn’t even think of packing that with me when I moved in April.
It will be my first Christmas in Cape Town and I’m excited.
On Saturday, the weather was just incredible. I headed to the beach with Janine from Being Brazen and Fran…

Janine, very naughtily, got me a Christmas gift – I’m so grateful! Love it!
On returning from the beach, I cleared up some wine glasses, broke one and stood on a piece. Well played Schneider!

The clouds on Saturday evening were amazing… I took this from my apartment. The only thing I did to this photo was use clarity on it. No colour change, no filter. It was incredible.
I knew the sunset was going to be amazing, so Fran and I took a Uber taxi to Caprice in Camps Bay where we had cocktails and watched the sunset at 20h30.
On Sunday, Laura invited me over to have lunch by the pool. It was another perfect day so all the girls swam, tanned and played with Laura’s adorable twins.

I hope you had an awesome weekend!
This is my last week at work. I have my final radio show for 2013 on Thursday and I plan to make this week an awesome one!
Happy Monday! I’ll leave you with this quote…
