What is it?

I know the different SPFs give you an indication of when you should be reapplying your suntan lotion, but let’s be honest… it’s not like we have a timer on beeping when we should reapply lotion… I particularly love that this UV patch shows me, so that I’m protected 100% of the time and have a greater chance of not getting sun burnt.

In 2007 I was diagnosed with Superficial Spreading Melanoma on my right elbow. It was a pretty scary moment in my life and I’m very grateful we caught it early. I had it cut out of my arm, had umpteen tests and scans to ensure the cancer hadn’t spread further and I’ve been free of it ever since. I’m not a very moley person, but I do check myself all the time and I’m particularly careful in the sun. A patch like this just elevates my sun safety now.
