Life lately…

This is what has been happening in my life over the past few weeks…

I’ve been enjoying eating healthy…

Fat free plain yoghurt, oat low GI muesli and fresh granadilla

I’m working out… I’ve done my 3rd SWEAT 1000 class and it’s unbelievable! I literally drip in class and I have been so stiff and sore (the good kind of pain!)

I am missing my personal trainer Jono a lot, but we still stay in touch and he’s so motivating!

Red and sweaty

When my mom came down to Cape Town with me 3 weeks ago, she photographed me inside my car. She had the best caption for the photo: If you thought the Hadeda birds in Johannesburg were bad… they’ve got nothing on the Seagulls.

It hasn’t been too cold here, but I’m prepared for when Winter hits … I bought the best blanket from Mr. Price Home. It is so soft and cuddly. I adore it.

Since it hasn’t been cold and we’ve been blessed with one or 2 scorching days; we’ve been holding onto the last ounces of Summer. It is not a natural thought process to go to the beach. I’ve lived in a land locked city my whole life. I associate the beach with holiday. It feels a little weird but wonderful to know that I can just pop down for a walk if time allows.

Since I’m not on holiday… I’ve been doing voice overs for various adverts and my daily radio show on 2Oceansvibe radio interviewing some incredible people with amazing talent and heart warming stories.

 I’ve also been studying…

I’m blessed to see this incredible view from my lounge and bedroom window…

And this view from the roof…

My mom took this photograph of me on my roof…

I’ve been attending a few launches and events…

I guess I’ve been throwing myself into work, trying to get a routine in my new city and trying to feel settled.

It’s easy on some days. Hard on other days. One day at a time 🙂
