This weekend was pretty awesome! I haven’t done this in a long time but on Saturday I shopped ’til I dropped.

The fashion in the shops are incredible and I had to keep reminding myself that I have a budget. I overspent my budget a few times (in my head)… I got some essentials, but I’m looking forward to adding to my wardrobe this Summer.

I basically have to start from scratch because my Summer clothes don’t fit me anymore. What a good problem to have… good, but expensive.

Oh and happy dance… I finally found the colour jeans I’ve been looking for… I didn’t want the standard mint and I didn’t want the bright turquoise… I found the pair that are in between mint and turquoise from Foschini’s 🙂

When I came out of the shops, I saw this amazing scene and FYI – there is no filter on these photos.

Yesterday I went on my photography practical to the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens. It’s magical there. I have been doing a photography course and the final part was the practical. It’s amazing how it just ties everything in together. I learned so much and I can’t wait to put it into practice.

Here are just a few of my shots from the day…

I am flying down to Durban today and I’m quite excited… I’ll be in Ballito for the whole week for business. I am MCing a 4 day event for a huge company and I’m extremely thrilled to be a part of it. I’ve looked at the itinerary and the entertainment lined up, and it’s going to be an amazing event!

I am staying in a beautiful boutique hotel, so I’m pretty sure there will be internet, I just don’t know if I’m going to get a chance to blog. I hope so…

If not, see you next week!

PS. I’m going to miss this little one… Man, he just gets cuter and cuter by the day…
