Last week we were invited to the launch of Havaianas new Summer range at Cafe Caprice. Havaianas are Cape Town staples and I was given my very first pair by Sox, when we first started dating and doing long distance. I remember him telling me that when I come to visit, I’ll need a pair of these 😉
We arrived to an oasis of pink flamingo’s, coconuts, pineapples (I’m having a love affair with pineapples at the moment – from the fruit itself to decor and fashion), bright summer colours, tasty summer dishes, delicious cocktails and ice lollies. There was even a pedicure station set up for all the girls (sorry boys) by the lovely ladies at Langaro Wellness, which was absolutely brilliant since we needed to put our best feet forward in the new range.
I love the range of slops with their various characters (hello Minions), the colourful patterns, their high tops and other sneakers and their espadrille slip ons, which I definitely need in my life.
They also have a range of colourful gum boots (hello festivals) and the cutest ranges for children too.

I saw these gold pineapples (see photo above) and knew I had to have them. I went rushing off to Mr. Price Home that weekend to purchase some.
I wore a colourful, loose fitting jump suit that I bought in Greece from Stradivarius and wore my plain black Havaianas and Stella McCartney sunglasses from Sunglass Hut.
I don’t know what was so funny, but this photo is too funny not to add.
Pedicure time…
I chose a bright coral colour to get into the Summer vibe…
Ta Da!
It was such a stunning event and I’m very grateful for the gorgeous pair of Havaianas we were given to take home.
