If you’ve been following me on FB/Instagram or you follow Glamour Magazine online, you’ll have seen that I’ve been involved in the “Today I’m Wearing” campaign.
I took 10 outfits from the Vintage with Love sale and we shot them around Cape Town. The idea was to showcase the clothes that will be available on sale this weekend at the 15 on Orange African Pride Hotel.

Vintage with Love (VWL) has asked for your gently worn clothes/accessories to be donated. The first Cape Town VWL sale will be presented by the African Pride 15 on Orange Hotel, and takes place on the weekend of the 11th – 13th September 2015. All the money will be going towards raising money for literacy charities.
This amazing sale is open to the public and we are invited to shop till we drop at unbelievable prices knowing that 100% of the proceeds will go to the literacy charities.
Items will range from R20 – R1000.
Some of the items that have VWL has received are Prada boots and Prada skirts, an Issey Miyake dress, Jimmy Choo, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen… just to name a few. There are some incredible designer bags, shoes, dresses, jackets and so on.
Everything will be laid out beautifully, like you’re in a boutique and it will all be in colour coordination. So, for example, you could find a red Gucci dress next to a red jacket from Trenery, or a blue Miu Miu garment next to a blue H&M pair of pants.
Entrance to the sale itself will be R50 a head for 12th and 13th September. Shoppers will not only be treated to great fashion bargains but can also relax with friends over coffee, bubbly and cake at the 15 on Orange coffee shop.
Tickets for the VWL Gala Evening Preview on the 11th September, will cost R100.00 – a small price to pay for having the first glimpse of the lovely fashion for sale!
Oh and don’t worry if you didn’t get a ticket for Friday – new items will be unpacked on both Saturday and Sunday so there will be gems to be found on all three days.
