2014

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I hope 2014 is everything you hope to be and more…

I celebrated the New Year at a house party with some friends and then took a cab to Cafe Caprice where Sox was DJing.

I’m feeling slightly anxious about the year and don’t get me wrong I’m very excited about it, but I just have a feeling it’s going to be a BIG ONE… a happy one and whilst that is exciting it can also bring slight anxiety. Do you know what I mean?

I have a tendency to be quite very hard on myself and this year I am trying to be kinder to myself. I also want to push myself out of my comfort zones and instead of fearing success, I want to enjoy and thrive in it. When I feel that slight discomfort, instead of retracting, I want to face it head on and turn it into a positive and ultimately face it.

It’s hard to explain, but that’s the goal.

It also feels weird having to get out of holiday mode and into work mode. The weather has been sensational in Cape Town and I don’t want to jinx anything but even the wind has blown at a minimim. Incredible for this time of year.

I have literally been meeting up with friends, beaching, partying, eating, exercising and even though it’s “holiday” – I have had something on the go every single day.

This is the FIRST December I have ever trained all the way through and it was A.W.E.S.O.M.E!!!

I feel quite exhausted, which is probably why I find myself typing this – on a Friday night. I’ve opted for a night in and even though I was hoping for an early night, which hasn’t happened, at least I’m chilling.

Here is hoping 2014 is a year of good fortune, love, health, wealth, happiness, abundance and everything else your heart desires.
