Weight Loss and Shopping.

I apologize for not posting yesterday, I was filming for Expresso show with the USN 12 Week Challenge.

I can’t believe we’re half way through. 6 more weeks to go and I’m thrilled with the results so far… I have to say I am really intrigued by what the results will be. People always say that to stay motivated, you should just keep thinking about the end goal. OK, but hang on a second… I don’t know what the end goal looks like. I have never had my body in excellent shape, so I don’t really know what to imagine. Make sense?

I can’t imagine myself looking like a Victoria Secret model (although that would be amazing, no?) so it’s hard for me, but I keep focusing on the cms and inches I have lost and keep thinking: Wow, if I’ve lost this in 6 weeks, I can do it again in another 6 weeks.

The most popular question I get asked is: What is your goal? What is your goal weight?

My goal with this is to be the best version of myself. What I mean is, I want to be healthy, fit and toned. I don’t have an actual weight measurement I’d like to be – because it just puts pressure on and I don’t want it to be about being “a number.” I am under no illusion that I’m suddenly going to be some supermodel. I have a real woman’s body with curves and nothing will change that, but being healthy and active can give me a better lifestyle and up my confidence levels. There’s nothing like trying on a pair of jeans and having them look really good, with no muffin top*. Just saying.

In other news I managed to do some shopping. I haven’t done much at all and I’m sort of waiting to buy clothes because there is no point in buying a lot now and not having them fit in six weeks time – it’s a good problem to have.

I have had to go and buy new jeans though, because the ones I have really don’t fit me anymore. I bought a pair of bright red jeans – colourful jeans are the rage.

Look at me trying to be all “Fashion Bloggy” LOL

I’m also on a mission to find mint green jeans. For some reason I am obsessed with the mint green colour.

WANT

I’ve always had an obsession for accessories. This bracelet and bangle begged me to take them home. I obliged.

I’m also loving these for winter… it’s the alternative to the pump.

Oh and this notebook holds all my ideas for my new show on 2Oceansvibe Radio… I’m excited for my first show on Tuesday from 2-5pm and all I’ve been doing is thinking about the show. Planning, preparing, researching and I have this excited energy. Every time I think “Hmmm… That could be funny.” or “That could work” or “I wonder if that will work on radio?” I write them down… In this:

* Never in a million years did I think the “muffin top” would go – I had just come to accept it. To have it virtually gone is phenomenal. So long “friend” – can’t say I miss you at all 😉
