Last night there was so much going on in Joburg. There was the start of Fashion Week, Taste of Joburg and the launch of the new Polo store.
I was really excited for the new launch of the Polo store. A complete win, because I always attend what I RSVP to first, out of courtesy. I thank my parents for that one.
I decided to wear a neon yellow t-shirt, a leather skirt, heels and a bun for during the day and then transformed it into a night time look, by adding a tailored jacket, a clutch and some curls for night time.
The launch of the new Polo Store was really beautifully done. Walnut Grove (see here) catered the event and the food just did not disappoint. It never does. Oh and on a little side note – I tried their red velvet cupcakes and I finally get the fuss now… I obviously wasn’t having the legit cupcakes made with beetroot juice. YUMMY!
You can see a lot of care has gone into the new store in Sandton City…
Oh and I forgot my camera, so I used my iPhone:
Well done to Laura Stewart and to Stephanie Scorgie and her team for the wonderful event. Thank you for having me and thank you Polo for the beautiful gift – a moleskin journal (in one of my favourite colours.) Very spoilt!
