I know I am the luckiest girl in the world to have the best friends ever! I can’t believe I got to have not one but two Bachelorette Parties! One in Jozi and one in Cape Town. On Saturday I was told to wear white and be ready by 6pm. I wore a dress by Cara Zara and heels from Foschini! I used my Glampalm Magic Wand to curl my hair!I was fetched by an Uber and whisked off to The Grand, Granger Bay – a Legacy Lifestyle Partner. Kim and Lisa, who put the whole bachelorette together, met me at the entrance and gave me a Bride to Be sash and a gold head piece. The theme of my Bachelorette: Greek Goddess.
I walked in and was met by all my beautiful friends, all dressed in white for the theme! We had an amazing section on the beach, right by the waters edge! There were white and gold balloons, buckets of champagne, vanilla cupcakes and platters of food.It was the most wonderful night… As the sun set in the most perfect pink hue, I thought it was going to become chilly by the waters edge, but it was such a warm night. We danced under the stars, bare foot in the beach sand, surrounded by some of my best people! I’ll let the photos do the talking…I even had my new Mother in Law, Dimitra and Sox’s sister, Sofi, who has flown in from Greece there to celebrate with me! It’s so special knowing our families are combining! After The Grand, a few of us took the balloons (I was insistent that they come with us everywhere we went. It might have been the shooters talking.)
We headed off in our Uber to Asoka, complete with the balloons and a popped bottle of champagne!More drinks… Pornstar Martini’s were ordered too! You pour a shot of champagne into the Passionfruit goodness and sip away…It was such an amazing night and the sore, fragile head was definitely worth it!
Thank you so much to Kim, Lisa and my bridesmaids for making me feel so loved and special! It means the world to me!
And so the countdown begins… 4 sleeps to go to our 2 wedding ceremonies! It is SURREAL!
I am SO EXCITED (and freaking out a little too – there is still a lot to do, but we’ll get there!)
