Mother’s Day is this Sunday, the 8th of May. In the past I have taken spending time with my Mom for granted. Now that we don’t live in the same city, I really miss her even more than usual.

Sadly I won’t be spending Mother’s Day with her, but my sister and brother in law in London, Sox and I in Cape Town and my Mom and Dad in Johannesburg are going to have a 3-way Skype session, Masterchef style. We have been given the ingredients to use and we will all come up with our own recipes, cook and have dinner “together.”

I can’t wait!

Life is short and we need to appreciate our Mom’s, so why not give her the gift of time.
