Mama Mio Relief (and competition)

If there is one product range to get during pregnancy, it’s Mama Mio.

The goal for the range been simple: to create an entire range of clean products free of nasties, safe, and able to elastify, calm, nourish and protect your skin while making sure that each and every product smells incredibly good, and that your skincare routine becomes a real and memorable ritual – A ritual that celebrates you and helps you feel confident and happy in your skin.

I feel that I’ve used the range in the perfect order. I started with the Tummy Rub Oil / Body Butter and have used it daily since finding out I’m pregnant. I’m really pleased that I have NO stretch marks at all. I also started using the Gorgeous Glow Face wash, which helped keep any pregnancy blemishes at bay.

In my second trimester, I added the Boob Tube to my routine, which has helped my skin as my breasts have grown in size. I actually started seeing tiny little stretch marks form, so I started immediately and I’m impressed with how those marks seem to have disappeared. I think I caught it early, so in hindsight, I’d start using this earlier too, from the first trimester.

I’ve also been applying the Goodbye Stretch Marks lotion onto my existing marks/tiger stripes from my adolescence and weight gain/loss. I wish I had known about this product sooner – but better late than never right? I’ve noticed a difference in my tiger stripes and I’m thrilled.

Now that I’m in my Third Trimester, I’m officially 30 weeks and 2 days (who’s counting? Me!!), I’ve added the Lucky Legs Cooling Gel. As I get heavier and heavier, I feel my feet starting to swell and I’m actually hot all the time. With the extra blood ( a third more) in my body, my temperature is elevated and circulation isn’t what it should be. I cannot tell you how wonderful this product is. Especially after a long day. It smells fresh and minty – perfect for feet and it cools my legs right down. It’s glorious.

Lucky Legs includes ingredients such as: Ginger Root to invigorate, Murumuru Seed Butter to relieve and hydrate, Arnica Montana Flower Extract a traditional botanical, and Organic Coconut Oil all combine to create the super soothing benefits of Lucky Legs.

I’ve also started noticing that I have a little bit of Colostrum on my nipples – it’s the first bit of yellow milk (apparently it’s quite natural to have at this stage, although a lot of women don’t have this – also natural!) My Gynae suggested I start using a nipple cream just to soften it, so that it doesn’t become too crusty. Lovely, I know.

Keep Calm Nipple Balm is the perfect pregnancy safe, baby friendly blend of Medical Grade Lanolin (carefully taken from the soft, white fluffy wool of happy sheep), the purest organic mega-rich oils, organic Shea Butter and Calendula all create the perfect soothing cocktail for sore nipples.

You only need a tiny amount and I apply it every evening. Once baby is here, I’ll obviously apply it more often. I love that you don’t have to remove it before breastfeeding and it’s 100% safe for babies.

Oh and it’s not just for nipples:
