Cindy Nell invited me to her pamper party with Catrice and Essence, 2 make up brands I absolutely adore. I think the quality is fantastic and the prices are wonderfully affordable. We got utterly spoilt and it was the perfect way to spend a Friday afternoon, especially as it stormed outside. Thanks Cinds, it’s always good to see you and catch up!

Winter really hit this week, the mountains are snow capped and the air has been icy.

I’ve been torn between staying home in my onesie (Yes, my onesie – you read that correctly) and not having FOMO by going out.

I feel like I struck the balance.

Last Saturday I got ready for the Durban July Veuve Clicquot party at Cafe Caprice where I met the girls for some bubbles and catch ups.

On Sunday I spent the entire day in my onesie, under blankets watching Entourage from Season 1 (boyfriend can’t believe I’ve never watched it, so we’re watching it together) as well as the Wimbledon final.

Pure bliss.

Meantime, Duke apparently had the same idea in Johannesburg with my parents. My mom sent me photos of him playing peek a boo from the curtains and curled up for cuddles. He has been loving his blankets and the underfloor heating my mom and dad have in their home. I go back to Johannesburg next week for some work and I cannot wait to see my family and my little boy. It’s been far too long.
