I was introduced to the Langaro Wellness Spa last year when I got invited to an event. I had just moved to Cape Town and the spa had just opened, so I definitely felt this exciting newness for the both of us.
It’s a one stop haven. Hair, beauty, spa, gym, fashion, you name it, they have it.
It’s in Camps Bay and I personally love driving there. The scenery is so beautiful and I still pinch myself that this is now home.
What I really love about Langaro, is that every therapist is so incredibly warm, friendly, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable and caring about the work that they do. The products they stock are amazing and the treatments are phenomenal.
I don’t really need an excuse, but this is definitely one of the best…having to get beauty ready to go on holiday. I’ve had all the necessary things done at Langaro Wellness Spa such as all my waxing, ensuring my nails are neat and colourful, having a hydrating facial – always imperative before you travel. Airplanes and airports can really dry out your skin, so it’s good to hydrate from the inside and the outside.
Upstairs they have an amazing fashion area with the best in styling advice, wardrobe advice and gorgeous clothes.
Right… Follow me into the treatment room.
I had the best massage done by Lee. Seriously, I cannot rave about this enough. It’s the best massage I have ever had to date.
I also had the Germaine de Capuccini Hydrating Facial done – I felt like every skin cell was rejuvenated, rehydrated and plumped up. If my skin cells could do a happy dance, I’m sure they would be!
Downstairs I had a pedicure done. My poor feet have been shoved into socks and boots this Winter and have been absolutely neglected. My toes needed some TLC with OPI.
I lay back on my own comfy couch and melted as my feet were soaked, scrubbed and massaged, by the lovely Tracey, whilst I sipped on cappuccino’s and was offered chocolate.
I always find it so difficult to choose colours…
and finally chose the colour on the above left:
I love the views from the pedicure chair…
Oh and in case you think I’m exaggerating when I say that this is one of the best spa’s I’ve ever been to, I’m not the only one who thinks so. Langaro just won the Les Nouvelles Esthetiques Best Spa Award and it’s so well deserved.
Oh and seriously… ask for Lee when it comes to a massage, in my humble opinion, I really believe she has healing hands.
PS. I posted this weekend (I know I normally don’t, but I was excited to share)… catch up here
