I am so excited to introduce you to a new designer in Cape Town, Kate Jordan. She makes some of the most beautiful, wearable clothes. In fact whenever I wear her pieces, I get stopped and asked where I bought them from.
I never have any shame to ask strangers where they bought an item. I’ll interrupt coffees (sorry, not sorry) or stop someone in a mall. I think it’s the ultimate compliment. My problem is whenever I ask people, I usually get somewhere international.
“Oh this scarf? London”, “I bought these shoes in Dubai” or “I bought this dress is New York.”
When I get complimented and asked where I purchased something and I get to say right here in South Africa, by a local designer, I’m so happy.
This is her brand identity:
She is a Woman.
She Works, she Plays, she is a doting Mother.
She knows what she wants and knows what suits her.
She stands out without trying, in her simplicity.
She is sophisticated, stylish and wants to be a dash sexy without showing her flaws.
She is Kate Jordan.
I bought this Contrast dress, which is so comfortable, without compromising on style. It’s also really affordable, and now it’s even on SALE! You’re welcome! Christmas has come early.
Originally R380. Now R200. Buy it now.
I teamed it up with the navy strappy sandals from Woolies.
I can’t get enough of my new sunnies from Sunglass Hut.
I feel like this dress was made for my Pichulik necklace…
