Forever New Sugar Blossom

I have always said that I’d love to have the Forever New store as my walk in closet at home. The pastel colours, the beautiful fabrics, pretty dresses, gorgeous heels, stunning handbags and sexy clutches, sparkly accessories, cell phone and tablet covers get me excited every time I walk in store.

Sugar Blossom is the new pretty pastel range. I’d describe the range as romantic, whimsical and dreamy. It definitely has me dreaming of Spring with the pretty florals either in the print material or as 3D applique flowers to create sexy textures. The range is so feminine and the fabric drapes figures in the most complimentary ways.

These dresses are perfect for that special occasion from attending a wedding to being a bridesmaid dress, attending a gorgeous high tea or garden party, brunch with the girls or a first date.

I styled 3 looks in the range and created a modern day version of these iconic women: Marilyn Monroe, Jackie O and Princess Diana.

1. Marilyn Monroe:

Marilyn’s may have been in white, but this dress is in a pale pastel peach colour. It has gorgeous 3D flower detail and feels so romantic.

I teamed the dress up with a nude heel, rose gold drop earrings and watch and a beaded clutch handbag.

2. Jackie O.

I absolutely adore this crisp white dress that is softened by the lace. It hugs all the right curves and made me feel powerful and sexy.

I teamed this dress up with white sparkly shoes, stacked rings, delicate drop earrings and a jewel encrusted white clutch. I kept it all white, but if you wanted to add a pop of colour you definitely could with the shoes or clutch.

 3. The Princess Diana

This floral dress has a sexy spin on the maxi dress with a scooped slit. I also love the neckline and the beaded details.

I teamed it up with a periwinkle blue handbag, stilettos and blue sparkly accessories.

I had such a lovely time in store playing dress up. Thanks to the lovely ladies at the V&A Waterfront for all the help.

The Sugar Blossom range is in store now.
