Domestic Goddess

I may just become a domestic goddess… I certainly feel like I could be the new Martha Stewart… um… without the convict record.

Last night my girl friends (Rene, Karolina and Ismini) and I went to the Cook Culinary Studio.  Ismini had booked the class a while ago and I wasn’t sure what to expect.

We had to bring our choice of drink … I brought a bottle of Naughty Girl Sparkling Rose that I got for my birthday and we sat drinking bubbles while Debbie demonstrated the course: “Down the Garden Path.”

We learned how to make potato soup, olive and fig jam straws, Garden Tarts, Roast butternut and goats cheese filling quiche, caramelized garlic filling quiche, halloumi, corn and red pepper salad, crunchy pecan and carrot salad and condensed milk ice cream.

All the recipes were so easy and quick to make and tasted absolutely delicious.

I absolutely fell in love with the kitchen… It is so “me” and it gave me so many decorating styles and tips.

I loved that part of the course included table decoration. When entertaining, it’s not just about presentation on the plate, but the overall presentation, such as the table settings.

I walked away feeling like all I want to do is entertain and wow everyone with my new skills and perfect table settings.

Your invitation may just be coming soon.
