Autumn and Winter Trends…and dating don’ts….

My blog is very new and I must say I adore writing daily posts. I have also found a few blogs that I adore reading.

One of them is the lovely Jenna Sais Quois

Jenna is from Columbus, USA and I asked her what some of the trends were for their Autumn and Winter?

I normally dread Autumn and Winter, but the one thing that does get me excited, is the fashion. I love it.

I never expected an answer, let alone a full blog post … How exciting?

Girls – I don’t think I’ve actually been this excited for Autumn and Winter… Take a look at these trends!

I’m in love with the chunky knit hats, the boots, the dark nail colours, the skirts are just too cute…

Oh go on… Take a look for yourself… Autumn and Winter Trends

In other news…

One of my closest and longest friends, Jacqui and I went out for dinner last night.

Jacs and I met at university and even though we don’t get to see each other as often as we’d like to, when we do get together it’s as if we saw each other yesterday.

This quote rings very true for us: “Friends are like stars. You may not always see them; but you know they are always there.”

Jacqui and I

I just adore this girl… We were laughing so much last night, that people were looking at us strangely.  “I think people think we are completely drunk!”

“Oh puh-lease. It’s called happiness people! Try it some time!”

The convo went something like this:

B: “So being single is awesome and it sucks too. Why is it that everyone has the perfect guy for me and then when I meet them…um… well, let’s not even go there!”

J: “Shame ang! I know exactly what you mean…”

B: “I don’t really have the time right now, but then there are days when I feel like I had better start buying cats… and the sad thing? I’m not even a cat person. Awesome.”

J: “OK…We’re not exactly there yet! I don’t think we’re oozing desperation.”

Well that sparked the whole check list … and I nearly wet myself.

You know you’re looking desperate (and CrAzY) when you’re on a first date and:

1. You ask him if it’s too soon to invite your parents to join you for coffee… you know, so they can bond.

2. You start humping his leg at the dinner table.

3. You twirl your hair, make googly eyes and ask: “So… how many kids could you see us having?”

4. You ask him: “Tanzanite or Diamonds?”

5. You bring out the scrap book you made of the “two of you” – you simply got pictures of him off facebook and photoshopped yourself in. Doesn’t he just love it?

If you’re doing this… you need help. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
